Indeed Labs Skin Boosters – Product Review

One aspect of my makeup routine that I used to neglect is my skin. Now that I look back at how I used to take care of my skin before I started implementing my current routine, I can’t help but shake my head vigorously. It was pretty much splash some water on my face, rub my face with a towel and move on. If only I can go back in time and give myself the knowledge I have now!

But, even with a great skin routine, every once in a while your skin needs a boost. I’ve been noticing different areas of my skin that have been changing over the past few months due to seasons changing (thanks Canada!) – stress, lack of sleep, and..well the list goes on.

We received these skin boosters from Indeed Labs and needless to say, I was extremely excited to try these because of the noticeable changes my skin was making. I’ve tried 3 out of the 6 Boosters myself,  which helps my skin in different areas that I wanted to pay a little bit more attention to. These highly customizable and concentrated Boosters can be used as soon as you wake up, incorporated into your favourite foundation or serum, or right before you go to sleep!

Mineral Booster

One of the first Boosters I’ve tried from Indeed Labs’ Skin Booster line and the bottle I’ve been reaching for the most! This booster pays attention to stressed and fatigued skin which has been my biggest skin concern as of late mainly because of a combination of constantly wearing makeup, stress, and lack of sleep which have been taking a toll on my skin. Sidenote, I don’t recommend a lack of sleep and stress daily … maybe I should take up yoga.

I typically add 1-2 drops into my foundation as well as apply it right when I wake up.  The Mineral Booster delivers oxygen to my skin cells, protects skin cells against free radicals and reduces oxidative stress.  The Booster also drains and detoxifies skin impurities while alleviating the dullness in my skin. I’m quite happy with how my skin is accepting the Boosters and glad I have something to use daily and when I’m in a rush!

Now, time to focus on getting some more sleep.

Q10 Booster

This Booster is one of my go-to’s as well and it primarily focuses on fine lines and wrinkles. Now you may be thinking, Meira why in the world would you need this, you’re young you don’t have fine lines and wrinkles! Or you may not be thinking that, you’re probably thinking of pancakes instead… mmm.

Either way, I primarily focus on applying the Q10 Booster around my mouth to reduce the appearance of my smile lines (I’m a happy person!) as well as on my forehead, where I typically scrunch my eyebrows in concern.

Not only does the Q10 Booster focus on reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, it also protects lipids within the skin from oxidation, stimulates cell synthesis of proteins necessary to produce collagen/elastin in the skin and protects the skin from oxidation. Just like with the Mineral Booster, I either apply it in the AM, PM or when applying my foundation!

Collagen Booster

The last booster which I’ve been sharing with my Mum and using a little bit more sparingly is the Collagen Booster. My Mum couldn’t wait to get her hands on this one, but I wanted to try it for myself as well.

The Collagen Booster is to address loss of volume and firmness in the skin by helping restore the skin’s elasticity. It also rebuilds the skin structure to smooth facial lines, evens out the skins texture and supports the natural production of collagen.

Since my Mum has been using it more, we’ll have to use her review on this which is a solid 5/5. She’s noticed an improvement in her skin by incorporating this into her routine, appreciates the extra oomph it gives her skin and how it’s restoring the elasticity in her skin!

Overall, I appreciate all the benefits Indeed’s skin boosters have to offer. Especially with a busy schedule and not being able to pay attention to my skincare routine as much as I should, I like the fact that I can add a few drops into my foundation or before bed and not have to be overly concerned that my skin isn’t getting every bit of attention it needs (I’m making my skin sound super needy!)

With 6 different Boosters in Indeed’s line, there’s something for everyone. I also suggest you browse for other products on their website – my favourites are the Hydraluron Jelly, Nanoblur & the 10balm!
